My colleague brought us to Ubi central for lunch on xmas eve. It was introduced by one of my colleague as well. It is the famous nasi ayam penyet from Changi Village. They have a stall here at ubi avenue 1's coffeeshop. It was long queue when we went over for lunch around 1plus pm. Since it is one of the stall located inside the coffeeshop, it is self-service basis. We queue to place order, make payment and collect our foods on the same time.I ordered S$5 nasi ayam penyet and requested for drums

I ordered S$5 nasi ayam penyet and requested for drumstick part to be served. The sambal was spread evenly around the serving. I don't take spicy stuffs but the sambal was surprisingly acceptable for my level. It goes extremely well with the ayam penyet. The skin was cripsy and the meat was tender and smooth. When you dip them with the sambal and consume it, it is perfect

If you wish to try, you can take bus 66,65,8 and stop at the main road bus stop. It is very convenient for the residents who stayed at ubi avenue 1 to go down to the coffeeshop anytime to have nasi ayam penyet
