I seldom got the chance to patronise this very famous nasi lemak stall in Boon Lay, eventhough I lived nearby. I seldom got the chance to patronise this very famous nasi lemak stall in Boon Lay, eventhough I lived nearby. Their opening hours do not suit me, sometimes they are not open during the morning weekdays.

I went during the evening and there was already a long queue to the carpark upon opening at 6pm. And they really only switched on their signboard lights at 6pm sharp.

The nasi lemak was like nasi padang, you can choose any items you like. I had ordered a takeaway with fried chicken wing, fried egg, ikan bilis and otak. I was charged about $5.

Okay, the takeaway photograph may not look nice but the taste was otherwise.

The Otak was the same taste as you will get from Lee Brothers Otak. The Chicken Wing was had a crispy savoury skin but the meat inside was slightly dry. The Ikan Bilis and peanuts tasted crispy and slightly to the sweet side.

The star of this Nasi Lemak stall was their Sambal Chilli Sauce. The sambal chilli sauce was very good, though was slightly watery. The taste was mild spicy, savoury and quite sweet.

The rice was good with mild coconut aroma and taste.
