This is a memorable dinning experience for me because Nasi Lemak is one of our favourite local dishes. This is one of the dishes that we will missed whenever we went travelling. We were there for our breakfast this morning. There are 2 famous Nasi Lemak stalls side by side. We had tried both stalls and both are equally good. We decided to order from the No 1 stall today as we did not want to queue at the other stall. The sambal chilli tasted remarkably good, it tasted even nicer when mixed it wi

The sambal chilli tasted remarkably good, it tasted even nicer when mixed it with the kacang and ikan belis. The level of spiciness was just right. The fried chicken wing was nicely marinated and well-fried to give it a nice crispiness. The fried egg was rather average though and the yolk was a little overcooked. I prefer it to be soft and runny. The banana leaf otak was a good addition, chunky pieces of fish meat can be found embedded in the otak mixture. The spiciness was just right as well.
The rice was another important factor to determine a good Nasi Lemak. The texture of their rice was rather light and flavourful, the grains were nicely separated. It definitely complemented all the dishes well.
It was definitely a highly satisfactory breakfast, a little too heavy though but a good start to a new day. We enjoyed it.
