Previously, my opinion of pizza hut is that it's only for pizza delivery and would not go and dine in its restaurants. However, ever since they had a revamp of their menu (their chef creations attracted me to give them a try and I've been coming back ever since), I now actually like going to pizza hut for dine-in. Previously, my opinion of pizza hut is that it's only for pizza delivery and would not go and dine in its restaurants. However, ever since they had a revamp of their menu (their chef creations attracted me to give them a try and I've been coming back ever since), I now actually like going to pizza hut for dine-in. Besides the usual pizza, they now offer a large variety of other dishes. Another plus point is that effort was put in to ramp up service. Each waiter/waitress serving you has a name card that they will place on your table so you can remember who was the one serving you. The staff are also now very friendly and courteous as well. Commendable! A good effort on their part to initiate change and to retain and attract more customers.


We have tried several of their specialty pastas before and loved it. Hence, we decided to try a baked rice instead today. We chose the curry zazzle - buttered rice topped with spicy chicken chunks and potato cubes drizzled in a fiery curry sauce. We were pleasantly surprised that this localized version of baked rice was pulled off really well. The baked fragrant buttered rice reminded us of the rice in claypot rice, and the curry had a very authentic local rich flavor. The chicken and potato were cooked till tender. A really yummy dish!

We upgraded our meal and the soup-of-the day was vegetable and chicken soup. It's a light-tasting broth suitable for those without a heavy taste palette.

The "ordinary" fish & chips we ordered was good as well. I especially love the fries, which had a special tasty & crisp coating on them. The fish itself is fresh and the batter used was not too thick. The side salad was drizzled with vinaigrette sauce and went well with the rest of the dish.

And of course, we ordered a pizza to share. Freshly piped out pizza tastes really good! The Hawaiian pizza did not disappoint us

For drinks, the iced lemon tea which came with the curry zazzle set meal had a side pitcher of syrup for you to add to your own drink, so you can adjust your preferred level of sweetness which I think is a nice touch. My friend tried their new lychee green tea and liked the refreshing taste. Another friend had the mocha which he found to be a bit too sweet for his liking.

Generally, we had a really good lunch at pizza hut. Will be coming back for more next time. Hopefully the standard of food and service here will remain at this level
