despite offering the usual taiwanese street snacks as many other taiwanese street snacks stall, ke kou wei does stand out among the rest. there was quite a bit of a queue the other day when i walked pass so i decided to give it a try. i ordered the fried sweet potato and fried sotong. upon ordering, the shop vendor will take the fresh sotong, dip it into the batter before frying, inside of the pre-cook then warm up kind, i am surprise that they make the food from scratch. another vendor would then ask if u wanna add the spices. apparently i ordered the last serving of sweet potato, one of the shop vendor took one look at the sweet potato and told me that they are missing a couple of pieces and offered to replace with a piece of chicken. so honest!!! she could have just pretend that the amount was correct, i was touch by such great service! the food turned out to be really good. love the powder they add to the potato. made it taste even sweeter!
