Mad Jack may seem good for a casual dining cafe to hang out with friends. I love their cajun fries the previous time I tried them at Pomo and requested for more in my order chit (self service and pay at the counter). However, I was a little disappointed at their serving this time as it's smaller and there are still more normal fries compared to cajun fries although I had requested for more.
Their Oxtail Stew was highly raved by some so I decided to try it for myself. The texture of the oxtail was alright but I feel that the sauce is slightly too little to go along with rice as I enjoyed the sauce very much. Although it's not much of an issue here but the serving time was long even though the restaurant wasn't very busy.I will still visit Mad Jack again for their Oxtail Stew as well as to try out some of their appetizer finger food!
