It's a long queue as usual if you are visiting on a public holiday. Started queuing from 11.30 am, got a seat after a 40 minutes wait. There's still a snaking queue behind us, extending down the steps from the second floor exterior of the restaurant to the first floor. Word of caution: Just be prepared to wait for up to an hour when coming during peak lunchtime.Quality of Dim Sum seems to have improved from my previous visit a couple of months back. Quality of Dim Sum seems to have improved from my previous visit a couple of months back. Recommended items: Har Gao (shrimp dumpling with fresh prawns), braised pork ribs, steamed chicken feet, fried carrot cake - all quite tasty.
Chee Cheong Fun with char siew was ok only - the sauce is a bit too salty, there should be a better balance between the fragrance of the sesame sauce and the soya sauce used.
Egg tarts were a bit too sweet, with not much egg taste in the filling, although the custard was quite smooth and the crust not too thick.
Generally still an ok place to go to especially with a big family if you like to soak in the bustling atmosphere. Another point to note, the waitresses have all brushed up on their service, really commendable! Service staff were attentive and friendly. Perhaps they got a nice bonus for the new year huh?
