I was so excited to visit this cafe as the previous time I went it was closed! I was there around 10+ am and the place was already packed but I managed to find a table at a corner! They have various breakfast sets and I got this set F, which consist of their highly raved Bostock and a cup of Kopi. Dong Po certainly makes a good rendition of the French delicacy Bostock, which is usually made with brioche. Their version of Bostock is made using our local bread, which is baked fresh upon order! It is then slathered with frangipane, which is a mixture of almond, sugar, butter and flour. Lastly, it is topped generously with almond flakes and icing sugar. I love the crisp of the flakes on toasted bread and the almond taste was just nice, not too strong or weak.
The cup of Kopi complemented well with my Bostock and it was a good breakfast! I will certainly come back to try their teh and the other pastries!
