This is indeed one of the best Nasi Lemak that i ever eaten in Singapore. Honestly, i was rather skeptical initially but thought i should just try it since i happened to be here.I wanted a chicken drumstick and fried egg but the Auntie recommended their otak too. She said, 'very warm and nice'. I decided to try it and i am glad i did as it is definitely not disappointing. Rice and Chilli are always the 2 most important factors for good Nasi Lemak. Rice and Chilli are always the 2 most important factors for good Nasi Lemak. Their rice has the wonderful fragrance of coconut with soft moist texture. The sambal chilli here is definitely one of the selling point too, it is nice and sweet, spiciness level is pretty mild but i do like it.

The chicken drumstick is huge and freshly fried, the skin still had its crispiness, very tasty and not oily too, it is good to even eat it on its own. I loved the fried egg, the egg yolk was still soft and flowing, not overcooked. Otak was good too, i could really taste pieces of real fish in it. I think i should try their fried fish next time, they even put up a signage saying, 'Guarantee No Lousy Fish' so i guess it must be really good.

The stall is located at an old coffee shop a stone's away from City Square Mall together with another stall selling nice oyster cakes.

Highly recommended.
