This time round, the monthly special was all things garlic!

Garlic Ribeye ($37+)
The steak was pretty good stuff. 300g of solid meat flame-grilled to perfection. Glazed with garlic and herbs, the beef was especially fragrant and leaves a bittersweet aftertaste, albeit a garlicky one. Juicy and tender as usual, this is the number 1 reason why the husband always comes back for more despite the higher than average price tag.

Garlic Rubbed Chicken ($24+)
Coated with a thick layer of oozing cheese and marinate, the chicken was simply fantastic! The meat was juicy and soft, unlike the usual dry and tough texture of chicken breast meat. The garlic taste was subtle but sufficient to bring out the full flavours of the dish.

Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream (FOC)
The brownie was warm and moist, albeit a tad too sweet for my liking. Nothing fanciful about it, just a simple sweet treat to complete our meal.
