We came into agreement to order from Golden Pillow 933, striking off our usual fast food delivery outlets from the list. With the availability of the online menu, communications was make easier during my order via a phone call. Service over the phone was friendly and professional. The lady had confirmed all the contact details with an estimated delivery time given.Ordered the biggest Mee Siam portion available and shared among 7 of us. Ordered the biggest Mee Siam portion available and shared among 7 of us. Mee siam was packed in an aluminum tray with shrink wrap. The portion was good enough for all of us with slices of hard boiled egg, bits of crab meat and limes. The fine bee hoon were stomach filling and added with a sour tinge to its flavour from the squirts of lime juice.
Cost: $20 (Large) The rest of the ordered fingers food were packed in the Styrofoam boxes pasted with Golden's Pillow Sticker indicating the Halal Symbol as well as the best consumption period. Fried Wantons comes in bags portion with a knot tied up instead of the usual "purse" looking wanton we had seen nowadays. It was crispy but not too greasy.
Cost: $7/ Box Salad Fritters were filled with fish paste and fried to golden brown perfection. Crispy at the exterior yet soft in its interior and tasted well with the salad sauce given.
Cost: $8 / Box Chilli was packed in a container and was served together with the chicken wings. Noted for its good taste, I would consider to reconsider this item in my future order.
Cost: $8 Total Bill was $64.20 for. Service and time of delivery were as promised, another good thing was that although the food were fried, they weren't oily. The only disappointment was that we started having the food late and it wasn't as warm as we had expected. After all, I don't mind considering placing another order from them to tried out their Signature Curry Dish.
