When they just opened, I saw so many updates from friends on my fb newsfeed. everyone seems to be flocking to try this french bakery. Being a foodie myself who enjoys "expensive" looking food and ambience, I too visited Paul at Taka. I ordered a mushroom & salad dish, some bread and lemon tart. After tasting everything, I was really disappointed. There was no wow factor. The food was ok, nice, but not really fantastic if I had to pay that much. After tasting everything, I was really disappointed. There was no wow factor. The food was ok, nice, but not really fantastic if I had to pay that much. I concluded that this place is perhaps that kind of place where it's nice to be seen in. Food wise, it's overhyped la.
