There was NO ONE else there but us when we went there at about 7:30pm on a Friday night. So that was good since we get choice of seating and it's nice to be able to hear ourselves.

The food here is reasonably tasty, except I am not a fan of foods that are cooked hours ago and then left on a bain marie for hours later. But this is what you get here. The food is very rich with extremely liberal use of oils, coconut milk/oil/cream and other greasy stuff. Most of the foods are also fried or deep fried.

The thing I liked most about my dinner was my company. And the fresh young coconut which was just right with abundant flesh and juice.

The rice is brought to your table and heaped upon your plate until you say stop. Prices are rather steep - e.g. 1 boiled egg fried in chilli padi is $1.50++. Nothing special about it. Basically the food is either so rich or so spicy that you will feel full and sick very quickly.
