Took a bite off the Mr Bean caramel custard pancake and it reminded me a little of dim sum, the custard bun. This custard has some caramel smell indeed and but lacks in the area of having no taste of caramel in it. However, the custard is rather thick, though cannot be compared to custard buns.Overall, the bun can serve as a replacement for the custard bun craving but can never be matched to such.
