From the moment we got to our table, it was indeed different.
The menus were stored in a hidden compartment under the table, for easy reference
and to save space.
Everything felt like paradise - from the peanuts, to the drinks, to the food, to the service.
The steamed paenuts were really good, unlike others we had tried.
The tea was served in transparent glass tea pots and small oval glasses - it was like a scene out of a folktale from the past...
The food - in huge portions - did not disappoint.
The two types of fried rice each had their own, distinct flavour.
The surprise was the Sweet n Sour Chicken, which was a welcome change from the seafood dishes that usually came in this form.
The Egg Omelette with long beans was also a smart creation.
Of course, the vegetables went well with both types of rice.
Although the bill was a little steep, this restaurant will be on my list when i need a
special place.
