I went to Tanjong Pagar Plaza Food Centre before their major renovation. I was not sure after renovation will this Issan Thai Food will still be operating there.This Thai foodstall was very popular with the Office crowd even during dinner hours and there was always a queue.I had ordered a Phad Thai and Egg Omelette.The Phad Thai had a very heavy "Wok" aroma and smelled something like our local Fried Kway Teow. I had ordered a Phad Thai and Egg Omelette.
The Phad Thai had a very heavy "Wok" aroma and smelled something like our local Fried Kway Teow. The taste of the Phad Thai was also surprising same as our local Fried Kway Teow without the cockles, with heavy "Wok" taste from the noodles. I think this Phad Thai lack of the sweetness from the fish sauce.
The Egg Omelette tasted fluffy, with right amount of moist and oil.
