Though i'm not a fish lover but decided to try this ikan panggang after seeing quite a few table of diners eating it. At $5.50 ($4.95 after kopitiam card discount), you can one grilled fish, rice with curry sauce, some vege, a sunny side-up and a bowl of soup. The fish given is more of a fish fillet than a whole fish. The fish is dipped into their special sweet sauce after grilling on a bbq stove. the sauce "stains" the fish well and combined perfectly with it. i like the fact the fish is grilled to bite worthy - crispy in texture. The sambal chilli offered at the counter is also worth mentioning, similar to yukee type with ikan bilis inside, it just brings out the indonesian cuisine very well. The soup that came along is a disappointment though with no ingredients in it and tasted very blant. I would love to try the chicken version next time, which looks a little like breaded fried chicken (imagine fish and chip texture look alike drumstick)
