I had vividly remember that there was a famous rojak in Whampoa Hawker Centre as from the last round of visit about a decade ago. I went through every rows in the Hawker Centre to look for the famous rojak stall, lo and behold, it was still there and as expected long queues were seen. Ingredients were fresh with crunchy fried fritters (You Tiao), turnip, cucumber, pineapple, beansprouts and a generous amount of peanuts. What overwhelms me is its luscious aplenty of peanut gravy with prawn paste and the small portions jellyfish was found in the Rojak. Sugar crystals were dissolved through the thorough mixing skills by the man. Greens are also added which stands up in the brown and "peanuty" dish.
Cost: S$3.00
