I went to nanxiang for a gathering with old friends. It was my first time there, they served mainly shanghainese food like xiao long bao etc. I ordered their egg fried rice and their hot and sour soup. The rice was really fragrant, love the eggy bits. The hot and sour soup was really good. They pre-seasoned it for me unlike din tai fung where you add your own chilli oil and vinegar. There were quite a lot of ingredients in the soup like meat, toufu etc. it was really good, went really well with my fried rice. I also ordered their tang bao, you have to suck the soup from a straw. My advise to everyone is take slow and small sip, the soup is really really hot! But it was good. Tasty and makes you wanna have more.
