Dropped by Shimbashi Soba at NEX for dinner and I had their Shokado B from their all day set meal ($21.80). The set comes with a choice of cold/warm soba noodles, salmon slices, chicken ball in teriyaki sauce, potato salad and dessert. Although everything came in small portions, the entire meal is actually very filling. I had cold soba which was not bad. Although everything came in small portions, the entire meal is actually very filling. I had cold soba which was not bad. The salmon sashimi was very interesting- half of it was raw and the other half of the sliced was cooked, so you could taste the contrast between the soft, raw part and the more firm cooked part. The chicken ball was not very impressive, just stuffed chicken bits in teriyaki sauce. Potato salad was done in a japanese style, so it had a nice mix of crunchy cucumber and vegetables in it.
