This is considered one of the more expensive japanese food restaurant. Celebrated colleagues birthday as Shin Kushiya. We have ordered the Agedashi Tofu ( deep fried tofu in tempura sauce) S$6.80.-Tempura sauce is ok and tofu is soft inside and crispy on the outside. Acceptable.Tori Karaage ( deep fried chicken thigh in special japanese seasoning) S$7.80 - Normal deep fried chicken pieces i would say. Sashimi salad ( assorted sashimi on fresh salad greens with wasabi soy dressing) S$15.80- surprisingly quite good. It was very fresh and juicy. Thumbs up Soft shell crab temaki ( deep fried soft shell crab handroll) S$3.40- Ok

California Maki (california style sushi roll) S$9.80 - Ok Chawan mushi is my all time favourite. Whenever i go to any japanese restaurant, i'll be sure to order this. They gave a very fresh and big prawns in this chawan mushi. Great!
