We went to Enoteca L'Operetta during the Singapore Restaurant Week (19 - 25 March 2012), where the restaurant offers a 3-courses dinner for only $35++. For appetizer, we can choose between the Scallops and Carpaccio. I had the Delicious Catch of the Day Carpaccio. The salmon slices are so fresh. they are served with garlic and shallots, sort of immersed in the light creamy sauce, and topped with generous amount of fish roe. Huge portion and quite appetizing with its slightly sour nature.

The Signature Oven Baked Hokkaido Scallops is served hot, good taste and very comforting. The scallops are huge, and the thick sauce is gorgeously done!

For main, I chose the pasta with Black Pork Ragout & Porcini tastes great too. Good flavour and the minced meat is well-marinated.

Another main dish, Sea Bass, tastes pretty alright. the fish is pan-seared to the extent that the skin is crispy! The seasoning is minimal, so not much to describe on. However, underneath the fish is a bedding of grilled potato, and freshly cooked musscles, what a surprise.

We both have Tiramisu as dessert. The Italian layered cake with espresso and mascarpone custard is more on the creamy side. Too creamy I'd say that I pretty much filled my stomach straightaway.
