We booked a Heritage Suite at Mövenpick Sentosa for a 3D2N staycation and the room came with a complimentary breakfast-for-2 and also all-day refreshments + evening cocktails at the Crystal Lounge. The restaurant is brightly lit and overlooks the patio outside where there are lots of green and you can also hear the monorail zooming past every now and then. There are quite a few buffet stations for breakfast. They have a local section with fried rice, dim sum and porridge; a cereal section with chocolate coco pops!; a savory section with sausages, potatoes and mushrooms; a pastry and bakery section with danish, fresh breads and cakes; they also have an egg station that has a chef to make an omelette for you, or you can grab the read-made sunny side ups or hard-boiled eggs, french toasts, pancakes, bacon, cheeses and fruits.
The buffet breakfast normally costs $40 per head but comes with free flow of fresh juices, coffee and TWG tea of various blends. Overall, the breakfast was satisfying and I particularly like the Muesli Yoghurt! It has texture like oats but it’s cold and loaded with lots of fresh fruits like apricot, blueberries, strawberries and a gooseberry too. The muesli is not that sweet and the sour fruits make it quite a refreshing (and healthy) morning treat!
