Hippo is one of the places when I have craving for steak. Reason being, it is one of the places that has affordable and nice steak. Hippopotamus have many wide selection of steaks from Sirloin to Tenderloin and even Rib-eye Steak. They even have rump and hanger selection. Decided to try something different and ordered the Top Sirloin over a stewed shallot sauce with sides such as long beans and potato gratin. The long beans was overcooked though and the vegetable just felt soggy to taste. Potato

The long beans was overcooked though and the vegetable just felt soggy to taste. Potato gratin was nice as usual, one of my favourite side that I will always order. The sirloin was cooked with how I like it, medium-well yet juicy and tender. Will recommend this place for its steak cause of the selection and pricing.
