And here we are again at Jack's Place to, hopefully, satisfy our steak craving after a disappointing experience almost 6 months back. To our pleasant surprise, the food quality seemed to have improved by a fair bit. Set Lunch Steak ($13.80++)The portion was quite generous and the steak was not too bad considering the price. The doneness was pretty much correct this time round, although still a little overcooked (more medium than medium-rare). Monthly Promotion - Sirloin with Hokkaido Scallops

Price does matter, at least here in Jack's Place. The quality of this steak is significantly better than their usual set lunch steak. The doneness is finally to our satisfaction and the beef was tender and chewy. I especially love the scallops as they are fresh, succulent, and blended well with the slightly spicy salsa sauce. As for the soup of the day and dessert, you could probably give it a miss, unless of course if it's already included in the set meal.
