I'd heard a lot about this famous store in Hong Lim Food Centre but never got around to visiting it... until this weekend that is.The queue was long and it was quite a wait. But the auntie went down the line to take orders to try and speed things up a little. I do admit that even though I'm not a mee siam fan, this was very well done. The gravy is obviously the winning ingredient, but they won't reveal their secrets so no one knows what's exactly in the fruit juice gravy (yes, it's called Fruit Juice Mee Siam). I suspect it's pineapple and lime though. I'll never really know.

I also ordered the laksa to share. Over here, you have to use a spoon to scoop up the laksa noodles and gravy. Sooooo satisfying - laksa gravy's not too thick, consistency was just right, and they were very generous with the ingredients Two thumbs up!
