When Takopachi first came into Singapore several years back, in the millennium? I remember how amazed my sister and I were. We were enthusiastic about it that we ate them almost everyday. They are just so crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside. They melt in our mouths!Till today, we still eat them except at a slower frequency rate. My favorite is the bacon & cheese as it takes the Japanese Takopachi balls to a different level, being more westernized as apart from seafood choices.
I heard that in Japan, they started off selling Takopachi in eights but as when they made their debut to Singapore, they figured that Singaporeans would prefer it in small portions, in threes, also as a snack.
Talking about it makes me hungry now! Definitely worth a try for those who haven't till now but I'm pretty sure many already did (;
