Having read repetitive news feed from facebook about the "Shiok Maki" from Koh Grill & Sushi Bar, I decided to drop by at this outlet after doing some shopping at Tangs.

I was able to get a table easily past 2.30 pm on a Friday afternoon.

Its appealing to see the amazing combination of colours and texture just for a single dish.

Shiok Maki has a combination of sushi roll of aburi salmon (lightly toasted salmon), mayo dressing, slices of avocado and charcoal grilled unagi (eel) and topped with generous amount of tobiko (flying fish roe). Served with slices of ginger and a tablespoon of wasabi.

The amalgamation of my favourite ingredients found in one dish for S$16.80 is indeed value for money.

Will go back for more.
