It seems like there is a sudden hype about this Blackball at Instagram, so since we just had dinner at ZebraC at level 4, we decided to pop by Blackball at level 1. It was very crowded & we manage to secure a table cos a group of 3 girls offered the bigger table to us while the take the smaller table. The queue was long & we waited 8 mins in queue just to place order & another close to 15 mins for our order to be served. Friend had Grass Jelly w/Fresh Milk $3.80 while I had Winter Melon Tea $2.8
Friend had Grass Jelly w/Fresh Milk $3.80 while I had Winter Melon Tea $2.80 - The winter melon tea reminds me of my sister's flying days when she will buy home lots of winter melon tea sweet. I love the winter melon tea!
However, the Blackball Signature which can be served Cold, Warm, Hot or Icy & it comes with YamQ, Golden Sweet Potato, Grass Jelly, Honey Yam, Pearl & Sweet Potato $4.90, was pretty disappointing. All the Yam & Sweet Potato balls, including the Pearls were too chewy & I took quite some time to finish off this bowl of dessert.I'm not sure if I'll queue again for more than 30 mins to give the Blackball Signature another chance to prove me wrong
