This stall is newly opened, by the same stall owner of the popular Teck Hin Fried Hor Fun stall on the opposite aisle. The uncle selling fruits mentioned to me that the porridge here is really nice and recommended me to try. I ordered my favourite combination of century egg and porridge ($3). The stall-owner cooks with care, slowly spooning in bits of minced meat into the porridge so that they end up like little meatballs. The congee itself is very smooth, quite thick and really tasty even on it

The congee itself is very smooth, quite thick and really tasty even on its own. Surprisingly, I was not too thirsty in the afternoon after my meal (that's the test to see if there's a lot of msg used), so I believe they used a proper stock to brew the congee instead of adding msg - commendable! The amount of pork and century egg used is quite a lot too. The pork was well-marinated and tender and the century egg used was of quite good quality as well. A good bowl of porridge that I will come back for again
