Ye Shang Hai Teochew Porridge is one of my favourite porridge place. The total spending for these dishes and 2 bowls of porridge cost S$12.10.

These pork bellies were properly braised. Dish is not oily.
The otah has some coconut milk over it and looks yammy. It is rather spicy.
Chap Chai is my all time favourite. Tastes sweet with a mixture of vegetables and makes it very appetising to go along with the bowl of plain porridge.

ServiceUsually the queues are long and I went there at odd hours today, 4pm, there are no queues. Service is fast.
Ambience
Tables and tables are seen having Ye Shang Hai Porridge. Plates and bowls are cleaned shortly after customers left. The turnover is quite high too.
Price
Economical pricing as compared to other porridge stalls.
Recommendations / Tips
Be prepared to queue during lunch hours.
