We headed to Siam Kitchen which located at level 2 of Bugis Junction for the food trail.The foods are served immediately after we are seated as we were competing the time to finish all the foods stops. Nevertheless, the foods are still served hot condition. Green Papaya Salad with Shrimp Flakes - $7.50. Served as an appetizer choice before you start off with main dish. The fruits’ juiciness and the crunchy peanuts and shrimp flakes will gives you a good kick start of the dinner.
Thai Mixed Salad with NZ Beef Fillet- $8.50. The beef fillet was nicely sliced and i would prefer to have it with plain rice because of it’s salad sauce and it is quite filling too if you ever start this for appertizer. This is base on my own opinion though.
I always love fried fish as it gives me a crispy taste on the outer and soft in the inner. Deep Fried Whole Garoupa Fish -$23.90 was just nice for me. It was presented in chunks and deep fried in golden yellow colour. Thumbs up!
Next we have the Siam Siam Grilled Combo Platter -$22.90. Loving presentation and best to share among 2-3 people. The platter was nicely grilled and it looks tempting. I loved the taste of the grilled chicken as it tasted juicy and grill taste. The beef texture was tender and it was best eat with the sauce prepared. As for the prawn, i didn’t tried but other blogger commented it taste juicy.
Overall the environment is good and the foods are decent. As for the price wise, it is quite affordable to dine in. If you are thai cuisine lovers, you might want to drop by to give it a try. You must try their grilled items and i think their grilling foods are delicious. It gives me the taste of BBQ-ing them by myself *self-imaginations*.
