Apparently, this has been a perennial favourite of tourists to Singapore. Especially the ones from Hong Kong. So I had a request to buy 6 of these full sized pandan cakes.Shocking? I never bought so many at once before. Nor have I tasted it for a long while. I asked for it to be sliced and the lady over the counter advised me against it as it would cause the cakes to become dry after a period of time. The one that I bought for my own consumption however, she gladly sliced for me. Look at that! T

Look at that! The pandan fragrance wafts through my plastic carrier. The soft spongey delicate texture was something that cannot be replicated in the factory made pandan cakes. This was a morning delight for breakfast. It's been a long while since I've had pandan cakes from Bengawan Solo and I was hooked. Get yourself one this weekend!
