According to some travel magazines, 逸群 chicken rice was the VERY FIRST chicken rice restaurant in Singapore ~50 years ago. However, I personally found the chicken quality is not as juicy as it should be, comparing to other famous chicken rice places. If you are new to Singapore, or you're a tourist, you should visit there to give it a try. Perhaps, my previous experience was just bad luck >_<.
