I tried Let's Clap Seafood Restaurant (but it isn't exactly a restaurant at all) on the Saturday after Singapore hit PSI400. This place is somewhat like a food court, but is barricaded by glass walls away from every other stall around. The first thing I noticed was that they had round tables! You can either order in tze-char style with an a la carte menu or steamboat when you are here. Apparently the steamboat is more popular here because I was at the only table eating tze char. Here is what we ordered (2 pax):

This is the seafood tofu dish - the tofu itself was not the egg tofu or the hotplate tofu sort of texture, but of rougher texture. It was passable; the other ingredients inside shone out more. There were well-braised winter mushrooms, sweet prawns, chicken and red pepper bells. I liked the sauce the most, I can eat so much rice with that sauce itself!

The next dish we ordered is the Fu Yong egg, I guess a very popular tze char dish everywhere. Honestly who can ruin this dish? It's quite ok, although I wish it could be saltier and fluffier. We could not finish the egg, so we asked the auntie to pack the remaining three-quarters for us, which she kindly obliged.

Total spending was about $8/pax.
