Last day of the restaurant week, we are having lunch at The Tastings Room, $25++.First the restaurant is smaller than expected. The tables are placed too close to each other. We are showed to a small table of 2 in centre where is still a number of empty tables surrounding it.I am carrying a number of items: yoga mat and bags and asked for a bigger table so that we could put our stuff, which is done. But later another wait staff removes off the chairs and table, and asks me to remove my stuffs. S

I am carrying a number of items: yoga mat and bags and asked for a bigger table so that we could put our stuff, which is done. But later another wait staff removes off the chairs and table, and asks me to remove my stuffs. So rude to remove the table without asking first. She told me to put my stuff in a room behind which I could not seen from my seat. I ends up with a chair to put all my stuffs on.
The mushroom soup is very oily. You could see a layer of oil on top. Full of chopped mushrooms.
The cauliflower soup just tastes like curry.
The duck’s skin is fried to crispy and dry but the meat is abit too salty. The pear slices are cooked till soft and sweet.
My friend feels that the salmon tastes abit fishy.
The apple flan is unique with a coconut base and not too sweet.
Finally I can taste the alcohol in a mouthful. Not bad as alot of Tiramisu which I have eaten did not seen to have alcohol in them.
