Bun Thang ($4) is essentially a piping hot rice vermicelli soup crammed with lots of fresh ingredients such as chicken breast strips, egg strips and pork. The noodles are like those bee hoon served in a fish head bee hoon kind, and the serving is quite big (filled to the brim of a bowl). The soup is really flavourful and sweet, probably boiled with chicken stock with a hint of spiciness from the basil herbs, but not too overpowering. I enjoyed slurping up this simple dish!
