I ordered lai lai kitchen’s wanton mee. I felt the standard of the wanton mee seemed to have dropped. I ordered the dry version so the soup was served separately. I found the soup pretty oily, as you can see in my photo, the surface of the soup was rather oily. The noodles were overcooked in my opinion, it was not the QQ texture like the last time I ate it. The char siew had a lot of fats, maybe some people likes it that way, but I not really fond of the fats. The only thing nice was the wanton, it was rather fat and juicy. I think it was the savior of the dish.
