If you live in Hougang you probably know about this popular Wanton Mee stall. Long queues were always spotted at the stall especially in the morning. Yi Shi Jia Wanton Mee offers 4 versions of Wanton Mee catering to the different taste buds. They have spicy, ketchup, soy sauce and soup versions. I had the spicy Wanton Mee which came with a decent amount of char siew and greens. The wanton which was not captured in the photo had tasty minced pork fillings and silky wanton skin. Overall it was a good old school plate of Wanton Mee that brought back childhood memories.
