Ever since I went to jurong west food market for breakfast, long queue can always be seen from this wanton noodle. But I did not have a chance to try on their wanton noodle. Recently, I decided to try it to see what so special about their wanton noodle that attracted so many customers to queue during breakfast hour. First of all, the presentation is still acceptable, just a bit too messy. Next, the portion of the char siew and the sliced vegetable is slightly too little for one person portion. The seasoning is not too strong and is closer to the bland side. But with the addition of their chili paste, it helps to enhance the seasoning. The noodle is sufficiently cooked, not too dry. As for the char siew and the sliced vegetable, it taste fresh and goes very well with the noodle. Apart from this two ingredients, this plate of wanton noodle is also accompanied by a bowl of wanton soup with several mini wanton. The wanton contain a small amount of the meat fillings, not over cooked and has a clear and refreshing soup to go with it. Price wise is also very reasonable at around $2.50 to $3.
