I went to try the wanton noodles from lai lai kitchen, I was pretty much disappointed with it. The noodles were kind of overcooked, it was totally soup, not springy and sticks to your teeth. The dish was rather oily somemore. The vegetables were kind of overcooked as well. the char siew was quite ok, sweetish but had quite a lot of fat meat. I went to try the wanton noodles from lai lai kitchen, I was pretty much disappointed with it. The noodles were kind of overcooked, it was totally soup, not springy and sticks to your teeth. The dish was rather oily somemore. The vegetables were kind of overcooked as well. the char siew was quite ok, sweetish but had quite a lot of fat meat. For people like me who dun really take fat meat, I had quite some trouble trying to remove the fats. I ordered the dry version with chilli. Their chilli they didn’t mix it in, instead, they place the sambal at one corner for you to mix it on your own, if you dun want too spicy you can just remove some of the sambal. The wanton was so so, nothing spectacular as well.
