A great hidden gem in the hdb blocks of Toa Payoh. You can easily walk from the mrt station to this place. It has a small area of air conditioned seating, maybe like 6 tables.. I visited Les Patisseries on a tuesday afternoon at 1pm. Tried their baked truffle mushroom pasta at $9.90 nett, it's a pretty large portion, I recommend bringing along a friend to help finish it. Don't let it's dry, crusted, burnt cheese topping fool you, the bottom is flooded with concentrated mushroom sauce. LEGIT.. I
I tried their matcha latte, I've seen instagram pics of a peacock latte art on it, but mine just came with a simple heart. The matcha latte tasted okay, nothing to rave about.. for $5.50 nett.
I couldn't say No to their hazelnut tart, $7.. It might look small/palm-sized but it is so dense, my friend and I could barely stomach it all, after the baked pasta. It is so crunch with the roasted almonds/hazelnuts, the crust itself was kinda soft and crumbly.. and it was served with mango syrup, a good mix
would definitely come back here to try more of their tarts. I only wish that they would have lunch discounts.
