VeganBurg is a unique concept fast food brand, offering a 100% plant based, vegetarian / vegan menu, with a focus on wholesome burgers made with natural, nutritious ingredients. At VeganBurg, you'll find their food to be surprisingly light, healthy, yet tasty!

I love the clean, almost natural looking ambience at VeganBurg. Committed to a sustainable environment due to their vegan lifestyle, this 'saving the Earth' theme is evident throughout the VeganBurg outlets. Theme is Industrial Safari, with tables made from recycled materials, faux grass chairs, colour hues of green, white, and browns. Offset by the ever present Harley Davidson motorcycle showpiece, the place exudes a calming zen.

VeganBurg is semi self-service. Ordering, payment, and collection is done over the counter like other fast food franchises, but staff are friendly and chatty. They are also very knowledgable on the VeganBurg menu, able to offer recommendations and describe simply what goes into the making of their wonderfully wholesome food.

VeganBurg dispels the myth that healthy food tastes plain. Their food isn't just healthy and 100% vegetarian / plant based, but tastes great and looks pretty as well! I find that dining at VeganBurg leaves me feeling satisfied, I like the natural, delicious tasting food, that leaves you feeling clean and light. Portions are nicely sized for 1 person, but prices are higher than a typical fast food franchise, budget about SGD $22 per person for a meal here.

At VeganBurg, their artisinal organic ciabatta burger buns have a crisp exterior, and a soft, fluffy interior. It's made from fiber fueled wholemeal grains including walnuts, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. Their succulent patties are made from organically grown soy beans / soy, and mushrooms. And because VeganBurg is completely plant based with their food, without any meat, dairy, or eggs, free of any animal content, their food is halal friendly, even though they aren't halal certified.

I love that they offer healthy side dishes! The Rockin' Broccoli (SGD $3.90) features crisp, tender broccoli, simply prepared and wholesome. The Seaweed Fries (SGD $3.90) are medium cut with a generous potato flavour, and sprinkled with 100% organic seaweed flakes, tastes clean and healthy, nothing like seaweed fries from other fast food brands!

The Hawaiian Teriyaki Burger (SGD $6.90) features a thick pineapple ring packed with vitamin C, on a tasty pan grilled soy patty, garnished with lettuce, and drizzled with sweet teriyaki plum sauce.

The Creamy Shrooms Burger (SGD $7.90) features a crisp pan grilled soy patty, sitting on fresh lettuce, topped with lightly sauteed button mushrooms, and a trans-fat free home made cream sauce. During Halloween, they offered the option to swap to a Charcoal infused ciabatta burger bun.
