Went there for a Friday escape lunch. As usual it's packed to the brim. The decor invokes 70s style singapore as the shop proudly shows off its awards and heritage. The bak ku Teh soup is flavourful and slightly peppery spicy. The savoury dish definitely goes very well with rice! The pork is tender after the long hard boil and its tasty as well. My lunch clique also ordered kailan in oyster sauce and fried dough sticks. The latter are to be eaten after dipping into the aromatic soup. Simply sed

Free soup refills are also available if you can't get enough of their signature soup.

A tasty escapade and an excellent prelude to weekend!
