Themed in soft industrial concept and serves East-West fusion dishes is Workshop Element (W.E.) Cafe, a relatively new café that sits at the heart of Singapore. Located in front of the escalator leading to second level of tower 2 and smack in the middle of the walkway, it is impossible to overlook.
Workshop Element Cafe offers dessert, waffle, sandwich, mains and coffee. Main attraction will be their $10.90 set lunch which includes main and soup while their $18.80 Tea Time set of Waffle, 2 Drinks and Gelato.
Latte ($5.30) had a decent flavour and strength to it but I wouldn't classify it in the "perk me up" category.
I had the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich ($10.90). Good portion of pan-fried chicken fillet in olive oil served with a conventional toasted Ciabatta. The dressing that's drizzled with the chicken was unique and tasty.
These waffles ($6.90) are "to die for", no kidding! The fluff, fragrance and crisp were phenomena. Definitely going into my "Creameries & Waffles Worth Visiting" article.
Do check out W.E. Cafe if you are in Suntec City! Psst...there are power plugs and wi-fi too!
