Having lived in Taiwan for several years, it's quite difficult for me to get satisfied by xiao long baos. The meat can't be too lean, too fatty; the juice too oily; or the skin too thickI was surprised that there standard for xiao long baos are still there. The skin is thin and even and doesn't break apart that easily. Small dishes are weighed on a small weighing scales but packed so it looks like they are very generous. The restaurant may be packed but their service is good with their continuous

The restaurant may be packed but their service is good with their continuous pouring of tea. The waiters and waitresses are also considerate by giving you a small basket to put your bags and a cloth to cover it.
For the price you pay & the quality that you get, it's quite worth it.
No visit to Din Tai Feng is worth it without an order of xiao long baos.
