It's my first visit to Asia Grand was pleasently surprised that most of the food was good except the har kow and the porridge. The har kow's prawn was a let down as the taste just not right and as for the porridge, paid $9++ for a bowl of beef porridge and got around 8 slices of beef and the taste was bland. The har kow's prawn was a let down as the taste just not right and as for the porridge, paid $9++ for a bowl of beef porridge and got around 8 slices of beef and the taste was bland. I've tried my friend's chicken porridge and it tasted quite porky (wonder why).
The steamed items I would raved about was the glutinous rice in lotus leaf , the steamed BBQ pork bun, the chee cheong fun(be it prawns or char siew) and the shao mai was so yummy and the ingredients in the glutinous rice were generous. As for the fried items, the fried delicious dumplings, fried yam dumplings and the spring onions pancake is a must on the table. Anyway, will still go again. Verdict 8.5/10
