If you're looking to have a good rest from all the shopping in Orchard Road, I would suggest you dine here. Tucked away on the 4th floor of Takashimaya shopping centre is a seemingly incongruous restaurant with a plain white exterior. The interior is fairly sparse as well but do try the steak! Tucked away on the 4th floor of Takashimaya shopping centre is a seemingly incongruous restaurant with a plain white exterior. The interior is fairly sparse as well but do try the steak! I had the Sirlion steak which comes with soup, bread roll, salad and dessert. I love the steak here because they always do it well and to the degree of done-ness that you want. But the other thing that gets me raving is their bread roll. It's just FANTASTIC! Toasty on the outside, with the soft, slightly chewy white on the inside, I always wish I could have more! (That said, I've never tried asking, maybe next time). It's baked fresh daily so you know you're never having stale store bought stuff. One small complaint is that I feel the salad could have a bit more variety of vegetables; it consisted mainly of corn, lettuce and shreds of carrot. Some onions, rocket leaves, spinach leaves or even beetroot would jazz the salad up!
