My friend recommended this zi char place within walking distance from aljunied mrt, located along a row of eating places. I ordered the assam fish head (ang ko li fish), which costs $24; the fish was fresh and tender, and the assam sauce was a little sweet and spicy, but not too spicy; goes very well with plain rice. I also ordered the kangkong which costs $8; nothing special though, but I requested for less spicy, which was just right.
