I am a foodie, like to explore new eateries, try new food, loves all sorts of food be it korean, chinese, japanese, indian, western, etc., like to search for nice, cheap and budget food too, don't mind to pay extra for food with high quality ingredients, prefer places with no gst and service charge, and quiet and romantic place for me to dine in.

The famous chilli pan mian is nice ,we love it so much, i add around 4 teaspoons of chilli for right side effect to reach level 1 spiciness, love the noodles with egg flavour in the mouth, meatballs are normal one, soup is very fragrant (boiled with ikan billis and bian yu), very sweet soup, we love it so much, $5 is worth to eat even though quantity is a bit, but quality thumbs up for the ingredients, should try, the chilli and the noodles capture our hearts with their special chilli, must try if you have not ate it before.…Read More

The rainbow cake highly recommended online, in fact the sponge cake is soft, dense and tastier, cheesecake is nice but not fantastic too, capuccino taste like latte (4bucks), overall great effort for the cake (5.80bucks per piece), they sell whole cake too, a nice cafe to chill out, a bit better than other cafe i go except place a bit small.…Read More

Shinkei Japanese Restaurant
Shinkei Japanese Restaurant

a hidden gem newly opened 6 months old japanese restaurant, i am glad to be selected for food tasting too, loves their food especially handmade Yakitori, pork balls and chicken Yakitori very nice (love it very much, can't really find it elsewhere), very fresh sashimi, a very different potato salad surprisingly with lots of ingredients, love their avocado california rolls too (full of ingredients and one of the nice one i ever eat), tempura is very fresh with assorted vegetables, prawns , fish, satisfy every one, their appetiser cold ramen is very unique and nice, Garlic rice is very fragrant, in fact appetiser changes every day so there will be surprises every time you go and eat,for their reasonable price of more than 145 dishes of ala carte dishes to choose from, it is worth to eat, their food is healthy without much seasonings used, natural taste, i love it personally very much.…Read More

Our all-time favourite japanese restaurant place for sushi, we order their chuwanmushi, spicy spider sushi, age tofu, fotomaki, egg sushi, dumplings, not forgetting my favourite hotate sushi. The standard is consistent in this restaurant, their sushi always taste so fresh and nice, we love their chuwanmushi so much as it is very freshly steamed, tofu and dumplings also freshly made. Their sushi always taste so nice and creative with new favours. Thumbs up for this restaurant at heartlands. …Read More

We order ipoh wanton mee and deep fried yong tau foo with yellow noodles, deep fried yong tau foo is very good, with real fish fillings, indeed nice, the yellow noodles got too much dark soya sauce ( i don't like too much), wanton mee quite nice (char siew , wanton are nice with their special vegs, wanton soup nice too, different from yong tau foo), next time shall try their other dishes...too much to choose. : ) …Read More

I enjoy the friendliness of staff and good quality of food this cafe have, located at golden shoe hawker centre, a pizza made with effort, very tasty, even though i use coupons, their service is good, garlic bread is tasty with hot honey lemon (a lot of honey, except too much lemon, but ok for me), chicken pizza very nice as they made it when we order (a thin crust with lot of ingredients), a nice , quiet, cozy place to chat with friends in a lazy sat, i love this cafe so much. nice try this time.…Read More

This is the place to look for budget japanese buffet if you got the cravings, from soba, sushi, fried tempura, hotpot, desserts, for the budget price with even more discount for senior citizens, this is a popular buffet place, food generally considered ok for this price and you won't expect too much for this price and you will have a nice view of Clarke Quay through its windows, reservations are advised as it always get fully booked. I generally enjoy it as me not a big eater with so much range of japanese food. : ) you can choose to add on with free flow of drinks too. Clearing of plates also fast.…Read More

My favourite coffee in Kovan hawker centre, you will be surprised to find a long queue, auntie don't make so much coffee, as per order, one flask at a time, their coffee is concentrated, rich and fragrant, i always find this stall and i don't mind to wait, 70 cents for a very Kau coffee, cheap and nice. Sure drink for coffee addicts. Just take note it is hidden between famous stalls, go look for it. Strongly recommended for coffee addcits too, i always go drink whenever i go there. cheap and quality coffee.…Read More

Yong tau foo besides Swee Choon, we choose around 6 to 7 pieces with vegs with beehoon mee, cost $4.90, the sauce is old school, the fish meat for yong tau foo considered ok, but you have to eat by the roadside, hehe....not bad, it opens at 5.30pm i think...it opens for night business only, this stall shown on tv before. : ) …Read More

roasted duck rice with char siew added, $3.50 after discount $3.15, nice char siew and roasted duck meat with lots of vegetables, more to hk style type, i love their char siew a lot. their soup is fragrant. wanton mee-hk style, lot of soya sauce and oyster sauce used, soup a lot of msg used, wanton not bad although only minced meat, mee is Q, loved it.$2.80, after discount $2.50. Soya sauce chicken not bad, but not fantastic, for this price, can eat better one elsewhere. Noodles same texture as wanton mee, hk style way of cooking, not all will like the thick saltish sauce used. $2.80, after discount $2.80.For a budget of roasted meat in a heartland kopitiam, this is the stall to go, cheap and quality food at reasonable price.…Read More

i eat this at Chinatown Point branch. My relative recommended me to their yam paste dessert, decide to go try, when i try it, a great disappointment i have, yam paste is not strong, gingko nuts not cooked well, with added pumpkin not cooked properly at all, for this price, i can eat better one elsewhere, yam paste is totally too fine and not totally yam at all, not worth to eat, sometimes it is not too good to branch out when consistency is not there. i will not go back eat again. …Read More
